I have always been encouraged to pr...Good question! I have always been encouraged to present myself well, dad said that it can help people see that I'm more than a skin condition. I can't speak for Turia but I know when I am dressed and presented well, in awesome clothes, I feel really good too. I do not think she's dressed provocatively like many cover girls are. I think she's dressed stylishly - for the role that she's undertaking - judge of a competition for successful women. <br /><br />As for makeup needed to cover up imperfections - I think that's what you meant? - I never quite understand the need for women to feel like they can't go out of the house without makeup. That's just silly and vain. Am I expressing this right? I am in awe of Turia's achievements and consider her a role model for women everywhere. Why the emphasis on "typical cover girl" styling?
