Thankfully, it was just your wisdom tooth, that at least makes it better. I'm glad the cost and the pain was minimal, great to know the dentist cares about your anxiety, too!Antonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06896464722776945077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-23901781662762183152016-06-28T11:50:39.636+10:002016-06-28T11:50:39.636+10:00Just like you, I have not been to the dentist in y...Just like you, I have not been to the dentist in years! I'd walk around each day terrified that the dentist was going to be horrified at my teeth. I actually cancelled the appointment three times before finally going in. Of course my fears were completely unwarranted as the dentist was a complete profession and made me feel at ease.

Freddie Gray @ Ballantyne DentistryFreddie Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09800412388002132708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-16566073604403610692016-05-17T09:31:11.748+10:002016-05-17T09:31:11.748+10:00Oh Carly, I feel you on the fear of dentists! I ha...Oh Carly, I feel you on the fear of dentists! I have rubbish teeth, nowhere near as good as yours, so now my dentist and I are friends after many years and procedures. But I still have that fear. I had my wisdom teeth out a few years ago, and I asked to be put completely under as the thought of being awake (even numb) while having teeth removed was so anxiety inducing. It was absolutely worth the extra expense - and I think you can claim some back on your tax return (ask your accountant!). The recovery was fine (lots of mushy food - my go-to was mashed avo and Deb instant mashed potato) and not as scary as I thought. All the best my dear! I'm another one scared of the needle. It might be wise to do further research on the side effects of the extraction
When my brother had his removed at the new Albury Base he was told that there is always the danger of nerve damage. Sometimes it is permanent and sometimes not. He had no problem with that idea but as you use lipstick you might 😉willywagtailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04161501326916060091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-63104428274111365472016-05-16T08:42:04.662+10:002016-05-16T08:42:04.662+10:00I have quite a fear of dentists. I was terrified. It was back in the day when you dumped your kid in the hospital the night before a procedure and didn't see them again till after it was all done the next day. They had to hold me down as I screamed going under anaesthetic. Scarred for life.
THANKFULLY though, despite some minor overcrowding, I have good teeth. No cavities even at my age. I should go again for my yearly clean...but I still have to steel myself for it! (and save up the $150 to have it done!)Leisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14939172770101669296noreply@blogger.com
