I have to admit that when I see someone who is bald I often assume they may be undergoing cancer treatment but as it is none of my business, I don't ask. I certainly would not be disappointed if I was told there was another cause, in fact I would be relieved that you are not sick.
To stare for an extended period (or at all) is just plain odd. I would be tempted to call the behaviour but I also understand that it is more important just to get on with your life. Lovely stuff SarahAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02643842167774804433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-84315584559128870892015-01-31T11:05:32.367+11:002015-01-31T11:05:32.367+11:00Thanks for posting this. She wears a similar wig.
Not the same at all, but I will be shaving my head for the worlds greatest shave in march, and will be interested in experiencing life as a bald woman, albeit briefly.Dani @ sand had no homehttp://www.sandhasnohome.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-9208647164559384432015-01-24T14:30:49.394+11:002015-01-24T14:30:49.394+11:00Yay Sarah & Carly!, beautifully written and wh...Yay Sarah & Carly!, beautifully written and what an amazing husband and son who support you in public and aren't ashamed. Hi Carly! Hi Sarah! So great to see you here Sarah and spreading your story. You are one of the most honest, couldn't give a crap, sweetest, empathetic writers I know. I love that your story is helping others, like Ren above, to know that your condition doesn't define you. You, Sarah, are one of the most remarkable people I've got to know. Can't wait to meet you in person. xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10529097151885036147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-61644909333181663382015-01-24T01:08:50.498+11:002015-01-24T01:08:50.498+11:00Thank you for posting this. It's nice to finally meet someone with "my" sort of hairloss. xx Renhttp://www.renlish.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-84543645363291454552015-01-23T08:07:13.645+11:002015-01-23T08:07:13.645+11:00I really enjoyed reading this. The most memorable person was a little girl whose hair completely fell out at 8 years old. I cut a couple of her wigs, and her mother would tell me about school being very difficult for her daughter. Other kids would grab the wig off her head and throw it around. She'd be an adult now, and I often wonder how she's going.Averilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15645948528323433452noreply@blogger.com
