Like others I have searched the shelves of food stores, unfortunately, creamoata is nowhere to be found. No wonder there are heaps of gut problems out there, due no doubt to the products like creamoata, being discontinued.mareenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-25030360029355583642014-05-28T16:07:13.534+10:002014-05-28T16:07:13.534+10:00creamoata has ceased since 2001 here in nz an it w...creamoata has ceased since 2001 here in nz an it went to australia an yes im looking for it too i wish they didnt take it off the market Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06584928948516751648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-33858410969587914252013-11-04T09:37:48.094+11:002013-11-04T09:37:48.094+11:00My Uncle was french and used to mix 50/50 creamoat...My Uncle was french and used to mix 50/50 creamoata and semolina with water, pinch of salt and when cookes sprinkle sugar and cold milk... I continued buying this in my married years with the last packet I purchased at Purity (now Woolworths) in Claremont about 1994/95?? I asked at Coles and Woolies and both said it was removed as there were not enough sales to warrant manufacturing, unbelievable when you read blogs like this and yet there are other "rubbish" cereals that remain on shelves. Oh well another icon gone into history. Thank you for the info LANDOR, I will try this as it sounds perfect, I am now 60 and still not too old to try things.Suenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-84321177649906891972013-04-23T07:35:35.202+10:002013-04-23T07:35:35.202+10:00Very easy to replicate.

Buy a packet and put it through the blender untill fine.

Then make a bowl of real Creamota as you will not tell the difference. Do not use rolled oats as they end up to grainy and do not develop that smooth creamy texture of Creamota.

The original company purchased the oats from Harraway's and ground them up. They're not quite the same as I remember (but maybe that's because it's 20 years later and I'm having to make my own breakfast, hah!), but they are very creamy and yummy! Hope this helps :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-11863551330661495482011-08-10T22:35:11.813+10:002011-08-10T22:35:11.813+10:00Just the other day I too thought of Quaker Creamoa...Just the other day I too thought of Quaker Creamoata. When I was pregnant with both my kids I was craving quakers creamoata, I used to have it as a child also. I sent my poor mum on a wild goose chase to every store in town looking for it and alas it was no where to be found. I guess they discontinued it. Perhaps you should start a campaign to get it back. Ill support you for sure! It's possible you could get your creamoata effect by using OATMEAL, which I think is very finely ground oats. Available in many supermarkets and healthfood stores too. Worth a try? I remember very creamy porridge from my childhood too. My mumused to make our porridge with milk instead of water and add sugar. I make mine now with water and milk, simmer with the water until it's thickened and creamy, then add the milk and cook a bit longer. I never use skim milk.Riverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14794655013673748992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720872153813357167.post-14381804665838186552011-04-03T14:35:56.946+10:002011-04-03T14:35:56.946+10:00Frozen Moove drinks in plastic not cardboard.
